Kargil Vijay Diwas | Most Important Facts

🎖 Celebrated on 26th July every year in the remembrance of our unsung heroes who died for our better tomorrow.

🎖The Most important lesson of Operation Vijay, I believe, was that sound defence makes sound foreign policy.

Operation Badr –

⏳The plan dubbed ‘Operation Badr’ involved the Pakistan Army’s Northern Light Infantry (NLI) heading the intrusion into Indian territory.
⏳ The idea of this operation was inspired by war exercises by the Pakistani Army in the 1980s called Operation Tupac according to the Book, “A Ridge Too Far” written by the Punjab CM Captain Amrinder Singh.
